I don't know about you, but early summer is a busy time at our house. With the school year ending, birthdays, and anniversaries there's a lot going on. Not to mention that this time of year also includes graduations, weddings, Father's Day, and is also a popular time of year to move to a new home before the next school year starts. So what do all these occasions have in common? A great gift is the perfect way to celebrate all of them! The Perfect Tote
I love to give my daughter's teachers a little gift at Christmas and again at the end of the school year, just to thank them for all they do for our precious kiddos. I think this small gesture is also a great way to show my daughter a tangible way of expressing gratitude. One of my favorite teacher gifts is this large jute tote bag from Ballard. It comes in two sizes and lots of colors and is very reasonably priced. It has a leather handle and a zipper closure with a small zippered pocket on the inside to store keys. Best of all, Ballard will monogram the tote for you at no additional charge. How cool is that?! I always choose the larger size for my teacher gift because it's nice and roomy for a teacher to fit all the things that she needs for school.
The Yummiest Candles
If you haven't discovered Antique Candle Works yet, you need to. They are a small candle making company based out of Chesterton, Indiana, and let me tell you, they make the most wonderful, yummy smelling soy candles. They use domestically grown soy beans and fine fragrance oils for a clean burning and super long-lasting candle. They recently went through a re-brand, and the new look of their candles is clean with a beautiful, vintage flair. On top of all that they are just the kindest people. You can tell they pour their heart and soul into their products. Their candles would make a perfect teacher, birthday, or house warming gift.
A Squeaky Clean Home
I just very recently discovered Mrs. Jones' Soapbox products, and I'm kind of in love. Jamie Jones started the company back in 2009 as a way to help families cut back on the chemical laden cleaning products in their homes. All of her products are safe, non-toxic, and eco-friendly, and they smell AMAZING! They also come in super cute bottles. Her Whole Kit n' Caboodle set includes a full size of each of her products and would make the perfect housewarming gift. She also sells cute little gift sets if you're looking for something a little smaller. What a cool and unique way to welcome a family into their new home and to introduce them to a healthy habit!
Stamp & Stationary
These pretty monogrammed note cards from Libby Lu Designs and this personalized address stamp from PSA Essentials are one of my favorite gifts to give to a newly married couple or a family moving into a new house. I just think the personalized note cards and the stamp with the family's new address is such a sweet way to welcome them into their new home. Monograms just make everything cuter, in my opinion. Oh, and the stamp is SO much prettier than what you see here because, unfortunately, I had to blur the address.
The Best Baubles
One of my favorite "for her" gifts to give and receive, that is perfect for almost any occasion, is Kendra Scott jewelry. With so many colors and styles, you're sure to find the perfect gift for all of the lovely ladies in your life...or for yourself. One thing that I think is so fun about Kendra Scott is the Color Bar.
